I just sometimes think about an scenario like there is an huge global danger and it will kill 99% of the people on the planet in 20 years. It only can be avoided if ALL countries are hardly working together for these next 20 years as only then they can find a solution to protect the people.
And then I would hope that these 20 years of 100% cooperation are enough to show everyone that war and such stuff is completely useless and no one ever things about war and such.

One lesson you can take from any zombie apocalypse is that the worse enemies usually are the humans that remain alive. They know they need to cooperate to survive, but they will fight among themselves and end dead.
