https://www.pcgamer.com/noita-has-a-hidden-replay-feature-that-lets-you-export-gifs-of-your-glorious-deaths/
You can now capture the crazed physics-driven deaths of your little wizard in Noita. U/troyirving on Reddit has discovered a 'replay_recorder_enabled' line tucked away in Noita's config file. All you have to do is find it, change a 0 to a 1, and you'll be presented with the option to create a gif upon future deaths. Here's a quick step-by-step.

https://www.pcgamer.com/teamfight-tactics-is-getting-a-competitive-scene/
Riot's autobattler Teamfight Tactics was an immediate hit when it debuted in June, and in July the studio confirmed—unsurprisingly, given its success—that it would be a permanent League of Legends game mode. Today it announced that it's going even farther by committing to the creation of Teamfight Tactics competitive scene starting in 2020.

https://www.pcgamer.com/mafia-and-mafia-2-trademarks-hint-at-the-possibility-of-remasters/
It looks like Take-Two Interactive is getting back into the crime game. The publisher applied for a trio of trademarks last month, all relating to the Mafia series, hinting at the possibility of remasters.

https://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-remaster-patch-makes-changes-to-13-heroes-on-the-ptr/
A new Overwatch patch went live on the PTR yesterday, and it's a big one. Blizzard described the 1.41 patch as a "remaster" and warned that it will require "a relatively large download" on all platforms. None of the changes seem especially significant, but 13 separate characters have been updated in one way or another, and according to this Reddit thread (via Polygon) that adds up to a patch of roughly 8GB in size.

Some nifty updates are headed to the Oculus Quest, the best VR headset in terms of bang-for-buck. In addition to hand and finger tracking set to arrive next year by way of a firmware update, in the more immediate future, you will soon be able to plug the Quest into a PC and play titles developed for the higher-end Rift headset.

A new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order trailer is coming tomorrow
https://www.pcgamer.com/a-new-star-wars-jedi-fallen-order-trailer-is-coming-tomorrow/
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is coming on November 15, and with that date now less than two months away, it's getting about time to crank up the hype machine. Those gears will begin to turn on September 26—that's tomorrow—with the rollout of a brand-new trailer for the game during the Triple Force Friday Global Reveal.
>> Nope, it's coming today.

Hunt Down the Freeman, the really bad Half-Life spinoff, gets some brutally funny achievements
https://www.pcgamer.com/hunt-down-the-freeman-the-really-bad-half-life-spinoff-gets-some-brutally-funny-achievements/
Hunt Down the Freeman is an interesting idea—a member of the special forces team sent in to clean up the mess at Black Mesa in Half-Life swears revenge on Gordon Freeman for wiping out his pals—and a very bad game. Accusations of asset theft didn't seem to hold up, but it was broken, buggy, and poorly designed.
But there is one good thing about it now: The achievements. Noticed yesterday by Twitter user Squibbus, they were recently added by M3sa, the one developer who hasn't washed his hands of the whole thing at this point, and they are doozies.

Mojang has released the third and final video showing forthcoming changes to Minecraft's biomes. The question of which of these updates will roll out first, will be subject to a vote to take place on September 28 during MineCon Live. We've seen Swamp and Badlands, now it's time to check out Mountains.

New Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trailer goes behind the scenes on the campaign
https://www.pcgamer.com/new-call-of-duty-modern-warfare-trailer-goes-behind-the-scenes-on-the-campaign/
Some games reckon war has changed, some games reckon war never changes. Whichever side of the fence you sit on, one thing is for certain: there are wars. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which releases next month, is camping firmly on the "war has changed" side. You'll learn as much when you watch the behind-the-scenes video embedded above, which gives some insight into how the campaign has been made.

Trine meets Zelda in free puzzler Vault: Tomb of the King
https://www.pcgamer.com/trine-meets-zelda-in-free-puzzler-vault-tomb-of-the-king/
A warrior, a rogue and a wizard walk into a bar. The warrior defeats the barkeep, who had turned into an angry skeleton. The rogue disables a trap on the floor, while the wizard lights up the room with his wizarding staff. So the average room goes in top-down puzzle game Vault: Tomb of the King, which is Zelda but Trine, or Trine but Zelda: it's basically a big dungeon filled with puzzle spaces.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint's open beta is live now, but it's still having problems
https://www.pcgamer.com/ghost-recon-breakpoints-open-beta-has-been-delayed/
Ghost Recon Breakpoint's open beta was due to begin earlier today, but Ubisoft has pushed back the launch while it investigates a connection problem.
Update: The Ghost Recon Breakpoint open beta is now live, according to Ubisoft, but on Twitter many prospective players are reporting that they're still unable to access the game. The 'INFINITY-00000' error code seems to be the common thread in the complaints.

Fortnite's mechs are exploding instantly
https://www.pcgamer.com/fortnites-mechs-are-exploding-instantly/
Fortnite's unpopular mechs might be heading to the scrap pile. The beefy war machines were introduced to the game with Season 10, but they've not been warmly received, even after they were nerfed. Epic has stood by their walking tanks up until now, but that might be changing with the season's imminent end.

Last Oasis Early Access has been delayed until 2020
https://www.pcgamer.com/last-oasis-early-access-has-been-delayed-until-2020/
Last Oasis, the nomadic survival MMO, sure promises a lot. A dynamic world, EVE-inspired trading, giant walking land-ships—it's an exciting prospect, but unfortunately one we'll have to wait a bit longer to experience for ourselves.
