Secondly, where Ellie falls in the beginning with Dina, the threat seems to be clickers but the next scene where we believe Dina gets killed, the threat is human. IMO, the whole trailer was a red herring. Joel is the one who gets killed in the trailer. The journey starts off with Joel and Ellie wanting to rescue a kidnapped Dina and ends up as a revenge trip where at the end she does Joel right. It will mirror TLOU where we start off doing a little revenge run and the actual journey becomes about rescuing Ellie where at the end we do right by Ellie in Joel's eyes. This will start of as a rescue for Dina and then turn to revenge. |
