Honestly think this is the wrong move.
Next year there will be machines (consoles) that releaseing were the default will be 4k 60fps, and probably be as powerfull as that PC you built.
However with console code to metal, the advantages will be there. Now with deminishing returns (in visuals) and with how many exclusives consoles get...

PC master race is a thing of the past.
Doesnt make nearly as much sense now, as it did like 10 years or more ago.

Alright, I'm going to have to ask you knock it off with the most obvious of bait, and yes, I'm aware I'm replying to it, but I'm asking you to refrain from making ignorant posts like that, as well as using gobbledegook like "coded to the metal", as if it's comparable the the power of a supercomputer, or while we're at it, the Death Star laser.

His PC is more than enough to do with what he wants, and so is mine. Mine is more powerful than current gen, and it will be fine for a good chunk of next gen. Whenever I choose to upgrade in the future, it'll still be as powerful as next gen systems, because that's how hw advancements work. You don't just build a console, cite it as the most powerful ever in the world vs everything else, and expect PC hw to stop advancing, as if it's consoles that get the say in how hw advances (because they bloody well don't).

And before you resort to the excuse of "b-but the price", don't, just don't, it's predictable and goal-post moving, and I'll have none of that when it's in response to me.

Also, PCMR is a meme, a literal joke, created by a British Aussie reviewer, well over a decade ago. Don't try to overwrite our current reality, in trying to cite it as a real serious thing to take in, rather than what it actually is (a joke, a meme), because that's entirely disingenuous and stupid, not to mention insulting to one's intellect and knowledge of the meme itself and it's founding.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
