To me, Final Fantasy 7 really is the greatest RPG ever made. And no, it was not my first RPG, not by a long shot. It was just an extremely well made game. It blew me away when it first came out, and it's still extremely fun to play even though most games from Generation 5 are extremely dated.
Persona...well the only Personal game I ever played was Persona 4. I played about 10 hours, but then I stopped because I kept falling asleep. I really don't understand what people like in the Persona games, but it definitely is not for me.
Needless to say, the FF7 remake is far more important to me than Persona 5 Royal.
