in the postbox, we got the real big deal, the speed skeleton, which makes the big jump and help Sam catch up the vehicle later. It is deserved to mention that it seems like things in the postbox are shared by other players as we can see on the right down of the screen showing the avatar of another player. That might be how the asynchronous multiplayer works.
