Rest easy. I have an original (1080p TV), two S consoles (1080p TV and a portable monitor) one X (4K TV). I jump between them often. The difference isn't THAT huge...most of the time. Same with the PS4 and PS4 Pro. |
I know, I have a pro and ps4 as well and apart from some small black borders all around, Spiderman looks pretty much identical viewed from the couch. It's just that nagging feeling and why I jumped to consoles instead of sticking with PC which always has the next GPU, ram upgrade or better cpu as soon as you build one. It has nothing to do with logic, just the feeling that if there's no choice, devs will have made it for that specific machine. Exclusives aren't that anymore.
My gaming tastes have definitely shifted since the death of exclusives and just play a few games for a lot longer instead of playing a lot of games. If there were no pro's I would have definitely have an S by now. Anyway, I can't complain, it's saving me lots of money. I've gone from spending over $1200 a year on games to maybe $300 and still can't get through my back log.
