Why would anybody hate mobile gamers?

Because there are many who see their behaviors, and probably more importantly developer behaviors, being bad influences on gaming design. For a specific example in Pokemon, which I am more familiar with, feel like Game Freak makes calls that are too designed for people who are used to mobile games.

The Battle Frontier being teased but not implemented in the Gen 3 remakes, for example. Fans take the quote of

"Put simply, the Battle Frontier wasn't included because only a tiny number of players would have appreciated and used this game feature. Players get fed up more easily than they did in the past and aren't attracted by these 'demanding' challenges."

As being tied to Mobile Gamer and game philosophy. Pokemon Co was noted as having told Nintendo that the Switch would fail because people play games on phones now, which doesn't really help see this idea in any other light.

I'm sure there are better examples in franchises I am not as familiar with.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?
