| twintail said: If your point was just simple objective numbers, then you would be right. But you brought your own speculative thoughts on the matter even wondering about Sony saying 'quality over quantity'. So in actual fact you opened up your comment to this sort of discussion. And I don't have to speculate anything. SM having a cancelled game is a known fact. The GoW doc proved that. UC4 having issues is also known. Jason of Kotaku has written about it. The Tlou leads having to stop work on tlou2 to work on uc4, thus delaying tlou2, is common sense. Etc etc. As long as these studios don't suffer any major problems, their output will be fine. |
I see... you are confused and didnt understand what i meant on my original comment, let me put it so simple that anyone could understand it, (read carefully please so there is no more confusion).
In my original comment i was making 2 points that are actually unrelated and you mixed both of them, i will now explain both of my points and at the very end (just to make sure there is no confusion) i will explain how you are confused.
POINT 1
in my first sentence i made my first point when i simply stated that Sony delivered less games THIS GEN, and yes of course (as you put it at the beginning of your last reply) i was making an objective correct observation with that, hence why im not taking any of the cancelled games or other reason you bring up into account.
POINT 2
After that i made my second point which has to do with NEXT GEN (PS5), (i literally opened up this second sentence and my second point directly refering to next gen), i brought up the article about quality over quantity because my concern is that due to Sony extra focus on quality we are likely gonna get longer dev time for games, which will translate into less games because the development is just taking way longer (i literally said this in my last sentence).
YOUR CONFUSION
You are taking the speculation that i made on my second point (which is about NEXT GEN) and are currently using that to discuss my first point (which is an objective obvservation about THIS GEN).
Again both points are actually unrelated.
EDIT: at the beginning of this page the-pi-guy just made the exact same argument i was making on my original coment, his comment is all ive been trying to say and im gonna make another comment quoting him so you can see what i mean.
