^Yeah, a couple years back both Intel and AMD stated that their new processors would be Win10 only, so it's easy to understand why you had so much trouble trying to install Win7 on a Ryzen chip.

It's something I'll also face once I upgrade my CPU/mobo.

Still, I'm glad you've managed it and have a working (and mostly) new PC!
