Ironically progressive discourse on matters such as women's fear of men contradicts their stance on the social construct stance since they claim that women are justified in being fearful of men because men are generally physically much larger/stronger

the thread mentioned in the OP with quite a few people making exactly the claim above. You participated in the thread as well so I'm not sure how you missed them. 

Unfortunately I have several other responsibilities that take up my time and attention, I don't think its fair to expect me to carry the contents of every thread I've participated in within my mind for an extended period of time

I remember the thread but I do not remember anyone making that claim, but I'll look through it quickly and see if I see what is being referred to
