Speaking of straw man, you can't say there have been no games that attract costumers and then completely dismiss Forza Horizon 4 because it's Forza, which is a terrible excuse to begin with. FH4 has sold extremely well and is constantly one of the top played games on Xbox. Above all other 1st party titles to be exact. Btw, no Forza this year. So much for yearly releases huh? Even though Horizon and Motorsport are completely different games, but whatever fits the narrative I guess. 
I'll be playing Gears 5 in less than a month, or does that not count because it's "another Gears?" 

I'm more than aware of Xbox's short comings this generation, but if you haven't been paying attention at all for the last 2 years, you can't say Xbox is in a bad situation as a whole. Not even close. 

I said not to mention forza because is the only game that scores really high, but even so its a yearly release wich is a slight update from the previous release so it dosent really woao anybody. Im talking more about hype. Yearly releases aside from COD, dont tend to have much hype. Also aside from the first it dosent tend to pull new people and its the one that sells the most per gen. 

Nope, it dosent apply to gears. Its not an anual series, there is hype for it. It might end up good. It could also pull a lot of people in depending of how good it is. But many games have hype prelease, releases, people dont like it, then they tarnish the brand. This is not a MS only thing, but they have had more bombs than the rest. 

In the last 2 years? Again, as I said before. They have adquired a few small studios, have any of them showed anything? Just ninja theory and people did not like what was shown. So there is nothing that says they are in any better spot with the exclusive content. While more games is always good, more low quality games dont pull a lot off people or build up hype.
