I have a guest bedroom available in the Washington, DC area for anyone that wants to come stay a little while and see what it is actually like.

It's not just the fact that they are ignorant, it's the fact that they think they know what they're talking about that makes it so frustrating.

I mean, the very idea that everyone in the United States has the same flat risk of being the victim of gun violence is so divorced from reality that it's mind-boggling.  You can't just look at gross statistics, average them up, and then just smear them across everything like a coat of paint.  At that point it's so untrue that it might as well be fantasy.
