Valve updates Steam's new Interactive Recommender, teases a new 'experiment' coming

A few weeks ago, Valve rolled out a new feature on Steam called the "Interactive Recommender," that uses machine learning to dig up games that you might like to play. Today it updated the status of that experiment, and so far it's going very well.
"One way we study what’s interesting to users is to look at how frequently a visit to a store page turns into a positive action like adding the item to a wishlist, or purchasing it. That frequency varies depending on how users arrived at the store page. We also look at how frequently people choose to visit a store page via the recommender," Valve wrote. "Our initial data show the Interactive Recommender is performing very well by those measures."

The team behind RPCS3, the best Playstation 3 emulator that is currently under development, has released a video, showing the first NieR game running with 60fps. NieR was a 30fps game on Playstation 3 and RPCS3 is able to overcome this framerate limitation, proving once again why emulators are so important.
NieR is not the only 30fps locked PS3 game that can run with 60fps on RPCS3. Demon’s Souls, Persona 5, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd are also games that can now run with 60fps on this Playstation 3 emulator.

Star Wars KOTOR 2 gets a 2.7GB AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack, improving over 600 world textures

Modder “facemeltingsolo” has released a brand new AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack for Star Wars KOTOR 2. This pack uses AI techniques in order to upscale the original textures by four times, and improves over 600 world textures (it also reworks some textures with existing game asset).
As said, this pack mainly focuses on the game’s world textures. Last month, we also shared an AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack that improved all of the game’s NPCs so we strongly suggest using both of these packs in order to improve the game’s visuals.
It’s also worth noting that this pack also features a Transparency Fix. According to the modder, this will work out of the box with AMD but might need some tweaking with Nvidia’s GPUs. If Nvidia has issues open the opengl32.ini with notepad and try changing the ForceAlphaToCoverage to 0 and or clamp to 0. All you need to do in order to install this fix is copy the two files into the KOTOR 2 executable root directory. To uninstall the fix, just delete both opengl files.

Alongside the released of the PC demo, Konami has also revealed the official PC requirements for eFootball PES 2020. This latest part in the Pro Evolution Soccer series will be powered by the FOX Engine and will be only using DX11.
