mmn, I don't really see wanting better performance, let alone caring about it, is solely related to "millennials". I've been wanting better performance for years, nhence why I upgrade my hw, or buy a system with better performance. I like pretty visuals, as much as I love artistic stylish choices, but I also highly value performance, and I have my own set of standards that I live by.

There is no such thing as a "true gamer", because that lends itself highly to the "true scostman" fallacy. There is no written book on how to be a "true" gamer, because that itself is entirely subjective.

I'm just a gamer who loves artistic visuals and pretty graphical details, but also loves nice mechanics and performance gains. Just because you don't care for some of them, does not make them any less important.

Also, I find it a bit off, that someone can be labeled a true gamer, for owning Nintendo products, as if all og gaming is Nintendo only. That's opinion based, not fact.
