Rainbow Six Siege's newest Technical Test Server is trying out some huge nerfs and buffs to operators that have caught a lot of attention in recent months. Most notably, hipfire for shield operators is now less accurate and shield melee isn't an instant kill.

Fallout 76's patch 11 went live yesterday and things aren't going well. Despite the long list of fixes, tweaks, and improvements in Bethesda's patch notes, players are finding their own lists of new bugs introduced to the very things that were supposed to be improved. Some are suggesting it's time for Bethesda to protect its players from problematic updates with a test server.

It took a whole lot of smashing stuff in a basement to make Monster Hunter World: Iceborne's sound effects

I imagine that actual ice dragons charge hefty sums for their voice acting talent, so the sound designers for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne have taken a more practical approach to creating sound effects for the frigid beasts in the upcoming expansion.

Free game Sacrifights lets you summon demons so you can beat them up for offal

Am I off the mark in thinking Sacrifights looks like an Amiga game? It's got that higher-resolution detail to the sprites, and the overall cartoony quirkiness that was still in evidence on the machine. In short, it's a breath of fresh air in a sea of NES-looking, PlayStation-looking freebies.

For weeks (years, actually), GTA 5 players have been wondering when Los Santos' long-dormant Vinewood casino was going to open. Now we know—it's coming next week, as Rockstar has formally revealed its Diamond Casino & Resort is going to open its doors on July 23 as part of GTA Online. You can check out the first trailer for the casino update above. That sure looks like Brucie Kibbutz from GTA 4 making an appearance in the teaser, huh?

GreedFall's developers want each part of their game to have a history of its own

Colonisation RPG GreedFall, which we first saw way back in 2017, isn't a historical game. At least, it isn't attempting to recreate strictly historical events. But in a new video, Spider's developers explain that they've sought to imbue each element of GreedFall with a history of its own, whether that's an NPC, a village, or one of the island's monsters.
