Of course it's fine, don't change for a woman, you should never make a woman the focus of your life. Remember all relationships are built on sand so the more you invest the more you lose when it inevitably ends, being smitten with another person is an illness, it can distract you from your goals and ambitions and can emotionally destroy you so always put yourself first and just view women as something that can merely enhance you and if they don't then remove them from your life.
