Only time I like a timed exclusive is when it's eventually released on my platform of choice (PC) and it comes bundled with a heap of DLC for the same or lower price. (I.E. GOTY edition.) Plus a heap of patches to iron out the issues doesn't hurt either.
Got plenty of games to keep me entertained anyway, so not releasing straight away isn't a big issue.
