Friday news, part two:

Prison Architect gets its first update from the new devs
https://www.pcgamer.com/prison-architect-gets-its-first-update-from-the-new-devs/
When Paradox Interactive acquired sandbox jail sim Prison Architect from Introversion, the publisher said it was "eager to explore the development of potential new games", but Prison Architect is still getting attention, too. New developer Double Eleven released its first update, The Clink, today.

The Steam Summer sale may have caused a wishlist purge and indie devs are worried
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-steam-summer-sale-may-have-caused-a-wishlist-purge-and-indie-devs-are-worried/
The Steam Summer Sale Grand Prix game is confusing the hell out of everyone, and in more ways than we initially understood. Not only is the game itself a boggler, but a number of indie developers are complaining today that their games are being deleted from Steam wishlists in large numbers. Some are speculating that this is because users have misunderstood the contest and are trying to maximize the possibility of winning specific games on their lists.

Hearthstone's next expansion teases the return of the League of Explorers
https://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstones-next-expansion-teases-the-return-of-the-league-of-explorers/
The teaser for the next Hearthstone expansion is here, and it looks like we could soon see some kind of return for the League of Explorers. More accurately, it sounds like it: The music that plays when King Togwaggle lifts the card in the video is taken from 2015's League of Explorers expansion. (Take a listen if you don't believe me.)

Bungie is finally going to fix Destiny 2's Menagerie loot chest exploit
https://www.pcgamer.com/bungie-is-finally-going-to-fix-destiny-2s-menagerie-loot-chest-exploit/
It didn't take players long to notice that something funky was up with Destiny 2's Menagerie, the six-person activity added to the game in the Season of Opulence. When players reach the end of the activity, they open the final chest and receive their big reward—but instead of getting a "well done" and a kick to the Tower, a five-minute timer continues to count down, enabling them to run out of the area, re-slot the runes into their chalice, and then run back to the chest to open it again and claim another reward. The process can be repeated multiple times, which can really cut down on the grind.

Flappy Royale is the inevitable Flappy Bird battle royale, playable in your browser
https://www.pcgamer.com/flappy-royale-is-the-inevitable-flappy-bird-battle-royale-playable-in-your-browser/
Flappy Bird, the game about guiding a bird, via flapping its wings, through a series of narrow passages between pipes, now has a battle royale equivalent. It's called Flappy Royale, and while it's obviously a phone game, it can be played in your web browser over here. And I suggest you do, because that's what I'm doing, and I'd like for my misery to be shared by others.

Halle Berry joins Keanu in Fortnite

It must be a bit lonely for John Wick in Fortnite. He's a gloomy man trapped in a relentlessly colourful, cheery world. Cheer up, John, now you've got a friend in the form of fellow assassin and pal, Sofia, played by Halle Berry in the movie. Her outfit has appeared in the shop alongside her brooding buddy.

Magic solves everything in clever free puzzler Transmute
https://www.pcgamer.com/magic-solves-everything-in-clever-free-puzzler-transmute/
From a screenshot, it would be very easy to convince someone that Transmute! was made for the ZX Spectrum. But it's a lot friendlier, and you have a wider range of tools at your disposal than in most Speccy games. You play as a wizard with the power to transform certain things in your environment—for example, to remove a blocking tree from your path, by turning it into a much more mobile frog.

Procedurally sliced pizza RPG No Delivery has an unsettling free demo
https://www.pcgamer.com/procedurally-sliced-pizza-rpg-no-delivery-has-an-unsettling-free-demo/
I don't see what's so scary about a pizza restaurant (except for the thought of ordering a salad in one), but both Five Nights at Freddy's and now No Delivery seem to see the greasy discs as emblems of purest evil. No Delivery is partly a horror game, partly an RPG, and sort of a roguelike set in a procedurally generated pizza restaurant full of shuffling monsters.

Teamfight Tactics has been struggling to keep up with demand
https://www.pcgamer.com/teamfight-tactics-has-been-struggling-to-keep-up-with-demand/
Teamfight Tactics, Riot's League of Legends-themed autobattler, has proved to be a bit popular. Riot made its Auto Chess bid earlier this week and it looks like players have been flocking to it in their droves, straining the servers and bumping up queue times to an hour. Dealing with the demand is an ongoing process.

Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord's closed beta is underway
https://www.pcgamer.com/mount-and-blade-2-bannerlords-closed-beta-is-underway/
This week, Taleworlds started letting players into Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord for the long-awaited sandbox's first closed beta. It's a multiplayer beta, so players won't be mucking around in the campaign; instead they'll be skirmishing with each other and testing the game's matchmaking and combat systems.

Gloomhaven gets an Early Access teaser ahead of launch

Gloomhaven, the digital adaptation of the phenomenally popular board game of the same name, is coming to Steam Early Access next month, but first, a teaser trailer full of turn-based tactical brawls! Stick it in your eyes above.
