PC market is big. As a platform, maybe its biggest disadvantages are the incredibly wide variety of HW and SW configs, with some possible incompatibilities, and unpredictable sales for any SW that isn't strictly necessary, like the OS, while some of its great advantages OTOH are great freedom in development, no platform royalties, that help keeping dev costs lower, great scalability, with the upwards one allowing devs to easier show the best they can do, and a wide range of BC, spanning with little or no effort several generations by default and often just requiring to modify setup files and update or remove DRM (if present) to extend BC to even older games, just like Steam and GOG routinely do.
