That same argument can be applied to any platform though.

That is... If you don't like a platforms exclusives, but prefer the exclusives on another platform, then it makes sense to go with that other platform.
Doesn't matter if it's a Switch, 3DS, Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC, Android, iOS, SNES Classic etc' - That argument is appliable to all.

Thus there is no "best platform" there is only the best platform for your own personal tastes... That doesn't mean a platform cant have a technical advantage over another platform on a technical level as added-value incentives.

I agree, but the platform with most games, better performance and most relevant exclusive genres would be PC even if I do prefer to keep on PS because of the exclusives.
