It certainly does, when you are making comparision with games that are now based on lots of evolutions that came with learning, time and technology improvements. It was fine back then. I would agree if the game was overly plagued with it, but it isn't, that's just how it is. I only properly played FF7 in 2015, and did not suffer with any of that. But of course, my favorite game in a JRPG from the very same era, so I'm really used to that kind of stuff since... well, always. |
He could also play the recent port of it and turn random encounters off.
