I am not but honestly would anyone be surprised if a year by now we had a 360 version?

Chances are though if there ever were one it would actually perform better on the 360 than the PS3, even such a high profile PS3 title as MGS4.

The 360 and PS3 are actually very close in power. Both just have completely different architectures. The only games I'm aware of that would make someone think that are the ones ported from the 360 to the PS3. Games developed side by side for both tend to run very similarly. Example: DMC4. It might perform better in some areas of the 360, but worse in others. The PS3 and 360 have different advantages and disadvantages to each other.

Hmm - The 360 has a slightly smaller OS footprint (Wierd how Microsoft is considered to make bloated operating systems!) So it has slightly more realizable ram and a more flexible architecture as to how its aportioned.

The graphics performance on the 360 is generally accepted to be moderately better than the PS3 or about the same once you account for the cell helping out the RSX so thats easy.

The CPU, well since nothing yet uses more than 50% of the Cells power aparantly and the cell is about 2x faster than the Xenon, yet the Xenon is easier to push performance out of. So this would make me think that theres no problem there.

The game is long and its linear - so multiple disks are definately doable.

Yup - I would say they could do it on the 360.

Nah, I wasn't saying that it couldn't be done on the 360. He was just saying that it would run better on the 360. I was just pointing out that the 2 systems are very similar in power but completely different hardware wise. There are some things you can optimize better on the PS3 and some things you can optimize better on the 360. My guess is that if they made a 360 version that it would be better in some areas but worse in others.
