Yes.  But...

1). What does original price mean?  Same price as PS4? Steam?

2). $9.99 per month is $120 per year.  Can you buy 4k 60fps access to gaming anywhere else at that price right now?  Besides, you have to pay monthly for access to games on any streaming service.  But it's not cancelled or lost.  Pay the monthly again, regain access again.  You do know this works on the same on some of Sony and MS services, right?

3). Immediate access damn near anywhere.  Play on home TV, computer, phone, friends TV, work computer, school laptop, etc....immediately.  No downloads.  No HDD installations. No day 1 patches.

As someone who pretty much buys everything physical (and only buys digital when the price is heavily discounted), the thought of not being able to access my games because of a fee is terrifying. 10$ per month is still too much.

Also, "pay the monthly again, regain access again" sounds too much like a mafia boss offering "protection" to someone. "Just pay us and you'll have your stuff back! Aren't we nice?" XD

The 1080p version will be free. So after the first year your stuff won't be held at ransom. Just your 4K/60 FPS graphics.

But yeah, I hate Stadia. It's just another form of digital-only DRM. Unless they suddenly get nearly a thousand games, I don't see the service taking off.
