Gmail, YouTube, Search, Android, Maps, Chrome...they will tell you.  And yes, you can block ads but do people block hard coded Google information directly on their services?  They could make the Google Doodle a Stadia portal, for instance (almost certain this will happen too).

So ya telling me we already live in a dystopia ....

paying tons of money for capped data internet and people not making a stank/an effort to get better service sounds like a proper dystopia to me
