Grandia 3 takes the battle system and refines it to the max, and has excellent special effects for the Magic. That is it. It does not hold to Grandia 1 and 2. Hell, Grandia Xtreme is better than 3.
But the real reason 3 is not included is because Square Enix has the publishing rights to that one.
