During today’s livestream, apart from the final ten games, Sega also revealed that there will be a special version of the Mega Drive Mini titled the Mega Drive Tower Mini, which includes the various extra add-ons released.
This set, named after the hulking abomination that was the Mega Drive stacked with extra parts, includes a mini Super 32X, a mini Mega CD, a mini Lock-on cartridge of Sonic & Knuckles, and of course, a mini Mega Drive cartridge of Sonic the Hedgehog. The special edition will launch together with the regular version on September 19, and will cost 3,980 yen.
