This particular string of this thread was about a student who did nothing more (or not much more) than claim that he considers himself female and people around him aren't even sure if he's serious about it. Of course there are cases where it's much more complicated to draw the line, but in this particular case I would say that the guy should go to the boys' restroom.

Well i guess time will tell if he was serious. Going be clothes would be a good rule of thumb in such cases, dress like a girl, go to the girls restroom if you like, dress like a guy, go to the boy's restroom if you like
