An upcoming adventure game in the style of Sierra's Laura Bow mysteries, The Crimson Diamond is one fans will want to keep an eye on, as it nails the spirit of those adventurous point and clicks. As geologist/detective (surely a first?) Nancy Maple, you'll visit the town of Crimson, in Ontario, to get to the bottom of a mystery relating to a precious diamond. The diamond of the title, obviously.
Sable and its hoverbikes have been pushed back to 2020
https://www.pcgamer.com/sable-and-its-hoverbikes-have-been-pushed-back-to-2020/
You'll need to wait a little bit longer to explore Sable and its infinite, Moebius-inspired desert. Developer Shedworks—named for the location it started out in, a shed—had hoped to release the game this year, but it was a rough estimate that's now been pushed back. Sable will instead appear in 2020.
What if Final Fantasy Tactics was a Chinese anime game about the French revolution
https://www.pcgamer.com/what-if-final-fantasy-tactics-was-a-chinese-anime-game-about-the-french-revolution/
What if, and bear with me here because I know this is going to sound crazy, but what if Napoleon, famous French leader, was not actually the big deal in the Bonaparte family. What if his younger sister Pauline was the real military genius and hero of the French revolution. And what if Pauline was the star of an alternate history tactics game about the French revolution, that just happened to be very anime, and also developed in China? And named Banner of the Maid? Would you, like me, find this both deeply amusing and pretty freakin' rad?

https://www.pcgamer.com/bungie-teases-a-new-six-player-activity-coming-in-destiny-2s-season-of-opulence/
With Destiny 2's Season of Opulence now just one week away, Bungie has revealed more of what Guardians can look forward to in the third and final addition to the Destiny 2: Forsaken Annual Pass. (Hint: It's more shootin' and better lootin'.)
Cyberpunk 2077 won't support mods at launch
https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-2077-wont-support-mods-at-launch/
One of the best things about gaming on your PC is the availability of mods. (...) You may someday be able to work similar magic in CD Projekt's upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, but not when it first goes live. "We have no plans to share at the moment," CD Projekt global community lead Marcin Momot said in a Cyberpunk forum thread dedicated to the topic. "Obviously, we would love to support the modding community in the future, but for the time being we want to focus on releasing the game first. Hopefully, this clears things up a bit."
A massive eye just split open on the side of Fortnite's Polar Peak
https://www.pcgamer.com/fortnite-eye-polar-peak/
This week, on Nonsensical Things Happening in Fortnite...
A massive eyeball has appeared where the volcanic debris hit Polar Peak during the unvaulting event preceding Fortnite Season 9. The eye is very much alive, following nearby player movements and flitting about in a seemingly panicked state. Were I encased in a mountain of ice while millions of teens flossed on my frozen body, I, too, might be upset.
'Red Faction Evolution' may have just leaked via the Nvidia Ansel website
https://www.pcgamer.com/red-faction-evolution-may-have-just-leaked-via-the-nvidia-ansel-website/
E3 surprises are often leaked by retailer databases or blurry photographs, but it's not every day that a new game is leaked by a screenshot tool. But that may have happened with Red Faction Evolution, which users on the Metacouncil forum spotted on Nvidia's Ansel compatibility page. Ansel is Nvidia's tech for taking 360 degree screenshots in games, adjusting post-processing, resolution, and so on. It's a high-powered photo mode that quite a few PC games support these days, including, supposedly, Red Faction Evolution.
The latest Fable 4 rumor doesn't hold up, even if the game is probably real
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-latest-fable-4-rumor-doesnt-hold-up-even-if-the-game-is-probably-real/
A Fable 4 announcement (or Fable IV, I guess) is likely on the way, but the game's appearance on Microsoft's Mixer streaming website shouldn't be taken as confirmation. Following the discovery of a listing for the game on Mixer, which was originally shared by a Reddit user, many have concluded that Microsoft has slipped up by adding it to its database too early.
But the Mixer database actually draws from player.me, an online tool for streamers with a largely crowdsourced database. At the time of writing, Fable IV has four 'players' on player.me, and the listing also appears on Twitch.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom has a free demo on Steam right now
https://www.pcgamer.com/monster-boy-and-the-cursed-kingdom-has-a-free-demo-on-steam-right-now/
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is Game Atelier's take on the classic Wonder Boy series: it's a side-scrolling Metroidvania RPG with graphics so cheerfully lush that it almost makes you angry. It released for consoles last year and has been constantly delayed on PC, while the studio ensures the port is up to scratch.

Vampire: The Masquerade—Bloodlines 2 finally reveals the Malkavians
https://www.pcgamer.com/vampire-the-masqueradebloodlines-2-finally-reveals-the-malkavians/
Vampire: The Masquerade—Bloodlines 2's fifth and final clan, at least for now, has been unveiled. Breathe a sigh of relief, you'll be able to join the Malkavians. A favourite from the last game, they seemed like an obvious choice for Bloodlines 2, but the extra effort in bringing them to unlife did lead to some doubts.
Please excuse my bad English.
