Warhammer: Chaosbane, the hack-and-slash dungeon crawler that’s bringing Diablo sensibilities to Games Workshop’s Old World, now has a story trailer that provides the backdrop for all the Nurgling-smashing you’ll be doing in its subterranean caverns.
Battlefield 5's next map is 'all-out war' on a gorgeous Mediterranean island

The Tides of War are bringing a new map to Battlefield 5 called Mercury that will be based on the events of the Battle of Crete, in which German invaders overwhelmed British, Greek, and ANZAC defenders to capture the strategically important Mediterranean island.
Foggy looter-shooter XERA: Survival is now in Early Access

By now, everyone’s seen those creepy robots that Boston Dynamics is making—the ones that walk around on either two or four legs, and always seem to be just on the brink of bolting off into the woods to start hunting humans. Well, XERA: Survival has that vibe all over it, and it’s available to play now via Steam’s Early Access program.
Pathologic 2 is getting a difficulty slider but the developers don't want you to use it
https://www.pcgamer.com/pathologic-2-is-getting-a-difficulty-slider-but-the-developers-dont-want-you-to-use-it/
The concept of "difficulty" in Pathlogic is tricky to parse because the game is so utterly impenetrable. Is it difficult, or is it just impossible to figure out what the hell is going on and thus what you're supposed to be doing? Pathologic 2 aims to maintain the original's weirdness, which is central to the experience, while smoothing down the sharp edges of confusion that make it unnecessarily challenging and frustrating to play—"difficult," you might say.
This upcoming Steam game is actually just a shameless rip-off of Battlefield 1942
https://www.pcgamer.com/this-upcoming-steam-game-is-actually-just-a-shameless-rip-off-of-battlefield-1942/
It doesn't take a genius to realize that the Steam page for Tank Battlegrounds, a "first-person shooting game set in World War II," is actually just Battlefield 1942. The trailer is the exact same as Battlefield 1942's trailer but clumsily cut short so you don't see the logo, the screenshots are the same, and even the game's description mistakenly refers to itself as Battlefield 1942 instead of Tank Battlegrounds. It's clear that someone is trying to use Battlefield 1942 to sell a fraudulent game. But why this kind of thing is even on Steam in the first place?
Overcrowd turns commuting into a cute management game
https://www.pcgamer.com/overcrowd-turns-commuting-into-a-cute-management-game/
Overcrowd: A Commute 'Em Up is a game obsessed with the teeming masses of commuters cramming themselves inside cramped trains and busy stations in the London Underground. It started life as a simple mobile game but has since become a PC management romp that's also due to be collected by the London Transport Museum. It's hitting Steam Early Access next week.
198X is a coming-of-age story told through 5 arcade games
https://www.pcgamer.com/198x-is-a-coming-of-age-story-told-through-5-arcade-games/
198X is a bundle of '80s-inspired games, from a back alley beat 'em up to a glitchy dungeon crawler, all connected by coming-of-age yarn set inside a suburban arcade. It's a story told through multiple genres, with a teenager escaping from their real-world troubles through five arcade cabinets featuring a quintet of playable games. It's due out next month, but in the meantime you can watch the new trailer above.
Total War: Three Kingdoms Romance and Records mode differences
https://www.pcgamer.com/total-war-three-kingdoms-romance-and-records-mode-differences/
Total War: Three Kingdoms bends history more than most of the series, letting you hurl legendary warlords into battles where they can single-handedly wipe out entire units. It bridges the gap between Warhammer and the historical Total Wars, but if you prefer your heroes more human and frail, there's also the more traditional Records mode. To see how the battles compare, check out the primer above.
Control the roads in graceful, free traffic game Traffix
https://www.pcgamer.com/control-the-roads-in-graceful-free-traffic-game-traffix/
I assume that traffic lights (the ones where you don't press a button, at least) switch themselves on and off automatically, but for all I know there's someone controlling every one of them with a tap of their fingers, or the click of a mouse. That's the premise of the appropriately named Traffix, a chilled and elegant game that has you managing vehicles across a number of scenarios.
Please excuse my bad English.
