This. I've logged in for probably the first time in about 7 years just to agree with this comment. It tops the Mario Kart series and CTR for me, which are games that I adore. On top of everything you've said, the tracks are so imaginative, the transition from car/boat/plane is so perfect and seamless and the trophies/achievements on the PS3/Xbox versions are the perfect difficulty. So much love for this game, I encourage everyone to try it if they love kart racers!
