Not a big Tetris fan so it won't get a buy from me but I don't see any actual problems with it. I'm not sure if marketing the new content as DLC is the right way to go though as that will irk some people irregardless of if it's fair practice or not. Just marketing it as a standalone game would probably be wiser.
Giving those with an online subscription free access to the online part (could be limited to one or two modes if there are several) of certain smaller games would be an interesting model, much more so than giving away NES games.
