If you are just looking at graphics, then yea, but it doesn't work like that. We have a huge complex open world games like Red dead 2 doing doing so much more, and exceeding those graphics, we have 60fps shooter exceeding those graphics, we finally have a action-adventure hack and slash that looks nextgen a  genre that hasn't evolved much graphically since Ninja gaiden on xbox.  Order 1886 is a very limited linear game, that also uses black borders to help it keep it's IQ.

I'm still not seeing this dramatic progress. Even the best looking early PS3 games were left looking incredibly dated by the time the system was this old, yet with PS4 its best looking early games like Killzone and 1886 are still not that far behind games coming out in Year 5/6.

PS4 was built with mature technology and was very easy to develop for and straightforward to fully harness, hence it didn't take developers years to come to grips with it like the PS3 with its exotic Cell processor.

The PS3's lifespan took it from this:

To this:

PS4 is never going to have a leap that big, it simply can't because its hardware was easy to exploit from day 1.

PS4 hardware really wasn't that easy to exploit, those weak CPU'S needed time for developers to find a way to work with.

Again you are only focusing on one game, and that killzone pics makes it look much better then it really does while playing it. mainly cause of the cool looking gun model.

Here is uncharted a early ps3 game. does anything on ps3 make this look a generation behind? Honestly  I have been impressed with ps4  progress  more then ps3. Battlefront is the Equivalent of uncharted 2 on on ps3 at 60fps.
