When did you first notice that grafix had diminishing returns?

I appreciate graphics but it was never a hill; I chose to die on regarding gaming so I haven't really paid attention to the best graphics. But unique artery;es continue to amaze me to this day like breath of the wild. I'd take those over super realistic games any day
