You are not wrong but i do wanna clarify one thing, and is the fact that most people with that mentality (at least the ones that i know) including the very same Youtuber who created the (Get Woke go Broke) meme, actually expected Captain Marvel to be a success (solely on the fact that it was a lead up to End Game) and they even repeated that several times on different videos.
However im not refuting you since im not surprised if there were fools that thought a movie like that would tank because of wokeness.
In my opinion the only way marvel movies could go "woke and then broke" is if every movie after endgame got obviously and obnoxiously woke, and even then it would take a lot of movies for such a thing to happen.
