I can see why some people would see epic store as a minor inconvenience but due to taking less from devs (i believe it's 12%?) they repass the costs of "unconventional" paying methods to consumers, and these "unconvetional" methods are the only way some people in third world countries have to buy games, they also lack a decent regional pricing for my country(Brazil) at least.
