Just because it happens within the console space, doesn't make it okay everywhere else. PC gamers don't like this sort of thing, primarily because it's anti-consumer and further fragments the playerbase into pieces. Some of us like having our games in a complete library, rather than fragmented across multiple storefronts, numbering by the years.
Epic already has people on their storefront, Fornite kids and teen/young adult gamers. They can start by sorting out their store and PR, working on it from there would help a lot better than simply going around, flipping everyone off, smacking people with a towel, going "I own you, you're my bitch". It's highly arrogant of Tim to act this way in regards to not giving a fuck about what we want as a consumer, and instead saying the "devs will decide who wins", while he also buys the devs to his side.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
