The thing is the N word doesnt even carry a stigma of racism with it (at least towards the younger generations). Its more of a curse word than anything else these days. I don't know how many times I have been called the n-word by different people and in no ways is my skin even close to being black. The semantic range of this word has changed drastically over the years. The only people I ever hear linking the N word to slavery or racism are usually older liberals.
