It might happen one day, Assassins Creed is one of Ubisofts most lucrative franchises for better or worse.

The excitement I have for it's sequels though just doesn't exist... I guess it's difficult to follow up a game that had many wtf moments and introduced us to a ton of new gameplay elements... The draw distances, story... Was a pretty amazing game when it came out.

I can definitely understand why the later games would be less appealing because a lot of things were lost in the later games like it's compelling atmosphere ... 

We need a ray traced remake of Assassin's Creed and launched along with the next gen consoles as a killer app for the new systems ...
