So... 49 hours to become the new minimum time it takes to complete a game?

Uhg I dread the idea of speed runners trying to abuse this feature and rob developers of their hard work. Like going to the movies I personally don't think video games should be refundable because they are an IP that cannot be rebottled once it has been "consumed".

I will say that it helps that it is only 2 days from LAUNCH, not when they pick it up. It means they have to pick it up ASAP from a Gamestop store on Launch day to even participate. Could do wonders for getting those sales in early.

Not sure about this, but since the tax is not refundable, it's possible that the developers still receive the money for the game and GameStop is essentially just buying it back from you.

But I also think it's very anti-consumer for you to think it's not good to have a system which allows people to get a refund for a game they didn't like.

It's also possible to imagine a scenario where this actually increases sales, as more people could be willing to purchase a game knowing they can return it if they do not like it.

To me this is a good thing.
