Since most gamers don't have a great need for Blu-Ray I don't think it's worth mentioning. It only adds value to the system from my perspective because it advances storage mediums (DVDs have become too small for my archiving needs) and that doesn't mean added value to the PS3 itself for me. The lack of disc switching in big games it nice I suppose, but I don't buy DVD movies and I wouldn't buy Blu-Ray ones either. So, really, it could be (and was) cheaper than a BR player and it doens't matter much.
