Half Life fans, here is something for you today. YouTube’s ‘Valve News Extra’ has shared a video showing 13 minutes of gameplay footage from the upcoming Half-Life 3 (or Half-Life Two: Episode Three if you prefer) fan game, Boreal Alyph.

Modder ‘LordEmil1 ‘ has revealed a way via which gamers can play Borderlands Game of the Year Edition in third-person mode. This mod will be perfect for all those that are planning to replay the first Borderlands game in anticipation of Borderlands 3. As the modder noted, aiming with 3rd person isn’t always perfect, so players might have to switch back to first person for a few seconds to “reset” their aim. Now while the aiming isn’t perfect, and we don’t know whether it’s possible to further improve it as we’re basically looking at .INI tweaks, it is still great.

Civilization 6 art director releases a mod that makes it look like Civilization 5

Have you ever played Civilization 6 and thought to yourself, this is great, but I really wish it looked a little... older? If the answer to that question is yes for some reason, Civ 6 art director Brian Busatti has come up with just the thing: A Civ 5 "Environment Skin" mod that's now available through the Steam Workshop.
The mod "changes the visuals of the game to better match the colors and tones" of Civ 5, with changes to texture details, a more neutral color palette for buildings and units, and other changes.

Bioware has released a new minor patch for its online looter shooter, Anthem. According to the release notes, patch 1.0.4.02 addresses a number of issues that could occasionally cause Nvidia highlights to crash and makes it possible so that newsfeed can properly show content again upon launching into the game.

SEGA has released a new beta patch for the PC version of Catherine Classic. According to the release notes, beta patch 1.3 unlocks the Boss animations by removing their 30fps lock, unrestricts mouse cursor and suppresses the aggressive selection of Nvidia GPU on dual GPU devices.
