I loathe Steam, but I don't plan to use the Epic Games store in the near future either. One thing that might change my mind though is exclusives. In the early 90's I had little desire to game on a PC. Then a friend let me play this game called Civilization and I just had to have a PC at that point.
If the exclusives are good enough, then gamers will always find a way onto the platform.
