Which is kinda what I expected. A new generation of gamers that don't know or need steam.

Wait. Is the Epic client data mining people's PCs to find out if they have Steam installed? :P

Yes. It was proved and confirmed by Epic that they access your Steam data and upload it to Epic servers. All without the permission of the user or Valve. Valve is already looking into it.
