I don't like to bash companies, but Sony dropped the ball on this one.

Anyway, I wouldn't hold my breath. I'd bet it's just maintenance...they've done this in the past without anything major I believe. I do hope I'm wrong though, in-game XMB is something I REALLY want as soon as possible.
