After looking over all of the results, the GTX 260 and GTX 280 are much stronger cards, in that no matter what the game they perform well, whereas the 4850 has a few strong points, and some weak points.
If Nvidia decides to lower the prices, I might consider getting a GTX 280, although to take full advantage of it I'd probably have to buy a new computer.
