On a side note, This game does have a souls like OP level up as you progress even if the stats are single and double digits to give the impression that there isn't, I went back to clean up some bosses and wiped the floor with them, they weren't even able to put up much of a fight, I'm slightly disapointed by this and if I'd had known I'd have done the bosses when they still were kicking my ass but it's again just a minor surface scratch on a fucking stellar game. I've easily put 30 hours into the game already if not more (Yeah, I have more free time than I should and no life) and it is my Game of the year, nothing comes close even if REmake 2 is clawing at Sekerio from underneath. Here's hoping Days gone os solid and Sony put out one of those four blockbusters they are holding back mid year and another before Novermber the great year that it has the potential to be. |
Yeah I agree that this game is the only real GotY contender. Nintendo has some good games coming out this year, but none of them scream GotY yet. MS is down and out. MK11 would be good, if it wasn't for all the content carving. Biomutant looks promising, but its a new IP, so flip a coin on whether or not it will be good. Outer Worlds is supposed to be fairly linear, so a bit of a step back from New Vegas, and Fallout 3.
P.S. That White Ape boss is Wyald from Berserk. You have been warned!
