Nobody except them knows what they will do in the future. They might not stock certain consoles if they perceive them to push too much toward digital. And yes, that would mean that they will tell customers to buy certain consoles somewhere else. I don't think they'll worry about losing customers for good, because their reputation as a games store is too good. People aren't going to stop buying games from them. A good chunk of their business comes from shipping PEGI versions (European rating board) of games to Germany, because USK versions (German rating board) aren't necessarily the same. There are lots of customers who don't turn to their store to purchase consoles to begin with.

From what you have said it sounds like they cater for a particular clientele. so their attitude might be harder to maintain elsewhere.
