There is more than enough evidence to suggest your claim is invalid and outdated - and it’s pretty much out there - do some research yourself instead of imposing a false claim especially when you are the only one who is expressing it.

I did the research.  That is why I don't think they have much of a presence in North America. 

Now if you are talking about the world outside of North America, Japan, and Western Europe, then I think Steam has a pretty decent presence.  All of the numbers that the other posters are talking about are worldwide numbers.  I actually do believe Steam is growing worldwide, but it is growing in places where consoles do not have much of a presence.
