It is getting fragmented though. If you are someone who refuses to embrace all sections you are missing out. Many consumers won't care and will benefit though.

I know they won't pay for exclusivity off everybody but my point is they might do a similar effort in 2020 as they did in 2019.

Your second sentence and third sentence conflict with your argument that it will cause a fragmentation.

i don’t think it will instead will coexist like Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo.

if their effort in 2019 is like in 2020, then it won’t make a difference lol.

People who want the game will buy it on EGS or will wait a year to get it on other platforms like Steam or GOG if it’s something that is from a company who doesn’t have their own store .

i don’t really see any possible fragmentation especially since all you need to do is download a client and online MP is free unlike on consoles where it’s actually fragmented unless there’s crossover online capabilities which thankfully seems like pubs and devs are pressuring the big 3 to implement

"the process or state of breaking or being broken into fragments."

That's the definition I'm going off. The market is not as centred around STEAM as it once was.

Not saying you're wrong but we've only seen some of their 2019 effort. They've made a good effort so far and will soon target indies. Who knows what other AAA or AA games they'll announce this year. I've a feeling it's only the start.
